These Terms of Service govern your use of In the Light, provided by Asteroid Apps. By using In the Light, you agree to these terms.
Using In the Light
You may use In the Light only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Your content and Google account
You retain ownership of content you create or store in your Google account. You grant Asteroid Apps the limited permission needed to process your content solely to operate In the Light and provide the features you request. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to content you add, organize, or share through the app.
Groups and shared content
When you create or join a group, other members may be able to view the group information, notes, invitations, and content that you share with that group. You are responsible for choosing appropriate group members and for using shared features lawfully and respectfully.
Third-party services
In the Light integrates with Google services and Firebase. Your use of those services is also subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies. Asteroid Apps is not responsible for third-party services or their availability.
Acceptable use
You may not use In the Light to violate the law, infringe another person’s rights, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems.
Service changes and availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of In the Light at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption or error.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
In the Light is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asteroid Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. We will post the revised terms here and update the date above.
