Sushi Bites Privacy Policy
Sushi Bites is a social productivity app for creating daily task lists, tracking completed work, and sharing progress with friends. This policy explains how Asteroid Apps handles information used by the app.
Information we collect
- Account and profile information. When you use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we receive your account identifier and the profile information provided by the sign-in provider, such as your name and email address. You may also create a username and profile.
- Task and social information. We collect the daily task lists, completed tasks, comments, reactions, friend requests, and friendship connections you choose to create in the app.
- Contact information you choose to use. If you choose to find friends from your device contacts, Sushi Bites accesses the contacts you select to look for matching app accounts. You may also choose to send an invitation using your device's messaging or email app.
- Notification and technical information. If you enable daily reminders, we store your device's push-notification token and reminder preference to send the reminder. Firebase and the app stores may also process device, browser, IP-address, and diagnostic information needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure your account, save your daily task lists and completed work, show your profile and shared progress to friends, operate comments and reactions, provide the reminders you enable, respond to your requests, prevent misuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information or use your app content for advertising.
When information is shared
Your profile, daily task lists, completed tasks, comments, reactions, and friendship information can be visible to the users with whom you connect through Sushi Bites, according to the app's sharing features. We use Google Firebase for authentication, cloud data storage, and notifications. Firebase processes information on our behalf to operate the app. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.
Retention and account deletion
You can manage much of your content in the app. You may delete your account from the app's account settings. When an account is deleted, the app deletes the account profile, task lists, completed tasks, comments, reactions, friend connections, friend requests, and push-notification tokens associated with the account from its active systems, except where retention is required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including Firebase security controls, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Sushi Bites is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
